Modern British food is served at the Ship Inn with the emphasis on fresh, local produce and seasonal influences.

The main menu changes each season and the specials board is changed twice daily thus providing a wider choice for the many returning guests. There is also a selection of lightbites at lunchtimes, except Sundays.

Every Sunday, there is a traditional roast option on the menu.

The menu at The Ship Inn provides old favourite dishes such as homemade casseroles and pies but there is also a range of food for the more adventurous palate.

The kitchen team are more than happy to cater for food allergies and intolerances. Just mention it when booking or ordering.

We pride ourselves on our simple, fuss-free approach to the dishes we create, trying to make each dish wholesome with no need for extra side dishes.

We have gained an excellent reputation for our wide range of homemade desserts which are equally a feast for the eye with their artistic presentation.
